Review: Received air fryer yesterday, fast shipping, well packed in box, no smell like some have said about Instant vortex air fryers. Have cooked fries, hushpuppies, and boiled an egg in it. All turned out good. I really like the controls. They tell you what is going on at all times, like preheating, cooking, when to turn your food, and it has a large basket, 9 1/2in x 10 1/4in. inside area. So far i am 100% satisfied with the Instant vortex air fryer. One other thing, I have never heard an air fryer this quite. You can barely hear the fan only if you are really trying to here it. And when you press the icons the beep is so faint and not loud at all. Great machine.

Review: I don’t particularly like to cook & sit down restaurants or takeout has been our weekend go-to for many years. I also wasn’t much of a meat eater—-but I’ve used this multiple times per week over the last month. In fact, no restaurants since I’ve had it—and let me tell you THIS THING IS AMAZING FOR MEATS.I’ve cooked pork chops, steak, whole chicken (fits a 4-5 lbs), salmon and I quote my boyfriend: “This chicken is the best I’ve ever eaten…these chops slice like filet mignon…I’m not crazy about salmon but boy is this good.” He’s definitely not complaining about this purchase.I haven’t mastered vegetables yet, though I roasted quartered potatoes in the chicken juices in a small ceramic dish and they turned out great. Also made apple crisp which was very good.WINDOW: I love it, I had a cheap fryer just prior to this which I used a couple of times and was constantly sliding out the drawer to check on doneness so for me, the window was a must—for example when I’m melting cheese on naan bread (yum) I want to see how brown it’s getting.BASKET SIZE: interior is square 9.5 x 9.5 so you can fit just about anything in here—I cook 2 decent sized steaks at the same time, fits a 4-5 lb chicken. I prefer the square shape to round, I believe you can fit more & more versatile— I can usually use my regular square pans for desserts. I didn’t need to buy any special accessories to fit in it, except heat resistant rubber tongs & silicone mat to put under pans so as not to scratch the interior cooking plate.I LOVE the turn reminder, and the preheat cycle is ok too, though I’ve heard some people prefer without it—regardless it’s no big deal.I highly recommend this fryer and I hope it lasts a good while. It’s been one of my better kitchen appliance purchases ever— I even convinced an extended family member to buy one.Note: I also have a dual basket from another maker since my SO and I don’t currently live together, and though it also works very well, it’s not as convenient as this single square basket type.I LOVE THIS FRYER and would not hesitate to buy it again.

Review: We got this air fryer after reading many reviews, and decided on this model after going through the glowing reviews from America’s Test Kitchen. This did not disappoint, and so far (it’s been less than a week in action) it has exceeded expectations. We’ve tried many things in this air fryer using their different modes. We roasted chicken thighs under the roast mode and were greeted by a product that had a crispy skin and tender meat. We broiled fresh sausages to juicy perfection. Cooked chicken breast, salmon, meatballs and even grilled cheese in this gadget, all to perfection. Best of all, it catches all the oil and fat from the meat, and get things done in a jiffy. I haven’t used my oven since I got the air fryer, and apart from cakes and turkey, I really can’t see when I’ll use it again… One thing I must emphasize is we especially went for the 6 qz model for it’s larger capacity. This is mostly enough for a family of four, but you may still need to cook your food in 2 batches. But that’s ok, because the relative cook time is pretty short. Say 15 minutes end to end for roast chicken thighs, and less than 10 minutes for meatballs and chicken breast. Highly recommended!
